Senior Regional Director for Europe/Eurasia
Mariam Sianozova, M.D., M.P.H. is Project HOPE’s Senior Regional Director for Europe/Eurasia. Based in Yerevan, Armenia, Mariam directs and monitors all public health programs operating in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia including tuberculosis control, TB/HIV and maternal and child health programs. She also leads efforts to identify opportunities to expand our current programs and identify new program opportunities in these regions. Mariam is a clinical and public health specialist with more than two decades of experience managing public health programs and nine years of experience as a physician/researcher.
Prior to joining Project HOPE in 2008, Mariam was the Regional Health Delegate for Central Asia, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Geneva, Switzerland. She holds an M.P.H. degree from American University of Armenia (UCLA affiliated) in Yerevan, Armenia and an M.D., from State Medical University in Yerevan, Armenia.
