Senior Director of Operations and Director of Monitoring and Evaluation
Sandra Dalebout, M.P.H. is Project HOPE’s Senior Director of Operations and Director of Monitoring and Evaluation. She is a public health specialist with more than 20 years of experience in program design and implementation with a focus on monitoring and evaluation and community based education programs. Sandra has developed and managed programs in reproductive health/family planning, STI/HIV prevention, tuberculosis, orphans and vulnerable children and child survival. At Project HOPE, Sandra is responsible for ensuring quality of programs by guiding staff in program design, performance monitoring plans, data quality, and in other key program monitoring and evaluation activities.
Prior to joining Project HOPE in 2006, Sandra worked for Family Health International, where she conducted clinical trials in reproductive health and co-authored articles published in scientific journals including Obstetrics & Gynecology. Sandra earned a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University and a Master’s of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sandra also holds a Certification in Public Health.
