Ferring Pharmaceuticals supporting Shanghai Children's Medical Center

Ferring Pharmaceuticals is committed to good corporate citizenship. A research-driven, specialty biopharmaceutical group active in global markets, Ferring is a leader in reproductive and maternal health and has been developing treatments for mothers and babies for over 50 years. Today, over one third of the company’s research and development investment goes towards finding innovative treatments to help mothers and babies, from conception to birth. The company also identifies, develops and markets innovative products in the areas of urology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and orthopedics.

Ferring has supported Project HOPE’s health and humanitarian work since 2008, providing support for HOPE’s ongoing work and contributing to HOPE’s disaster response and humanitarian relief activities, including the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and the earthquake/tsunami that struck Japan in 2011. In addition, Ferring partnered with HOPE in addressing issues of child development at the Shanghai Children’s Medical Center in 2010 and also collaborated on a three-year Post-Partum Hemorrhage Prevention Program in the Philippines, with the goal of improving access to quality maternal care and safe deliveries for women.

Affirming its continued support, Ferring is this year’s Signature Sponsor for Project HOPE’s Gala themed HOPE: The Voice of Global Health, highlighting HOPE’s lifesaving work around the world. The 2017 gala takes place June 13 in New York City. Ferring was also Signature Sponsor for last year’s gala.

Project HOPE highly values Ferring’s partnership as together we help address critical health needs in some of the most underserved areas around the globe.
