Pfizer, one of the worlds’ leading pharmaceutical companies, has a long-standing commitment to improving the health of people around the globe. A Project HOPE donor for more 50 years, Pfizer has generously provided more than $45 million of funding and in-kind support to HOPE as we work to improve the health of people around the globe.  From supporting HOPE’s programs addressing HIV/AIDS in Honduras to its disaster relief work in response to the 2013 earthquake in China, Pfizer has a long-standing commitment make positive impacts on global health outcomes.

One of Pfizer’s most unique and valuable global health initiatives is their Global Health Fellows Program.Since 2003, Project HOPE and Pfizer have been strategically placing fellows in position around the globe for 3 to 6 months, making them an integral part of the success of each HOPE program.To-date, more than 21 Pfizer Fellows have worked with Project HOPE in 11 countries, providing relevant skills including: business development and communications, project management, monitoring and evaluation, financial planning and analysis, information technology, patient education, fundraising and grant writing, and infectious disease specialization.

Volunteers are at the heart of Project HOPE’s work and we are so thankful to partners like Pfizer for their continued dedication and support.
