SRA has established the SRA CARES program to focus support in communities and to maximize the collective impact of its corporate and employee contributions and volunteer efforts. The SRA CARES program provides employees with opportunities to participate in community service and giving. SRA CARES also provides a means for channeling corporate contributions to charities like Project HOPE, which closely align with SRA's business and employees’ interest.
SRA proactively selects and supports nine Core Charities that are consistent its mission and values; Project HOPE is currently recognized as one of SRA’s Core Charities. To support Project HOPE’s lifesaving mission, SRA has run a series of Employee Giving Campaigns. In 2010, SRA CARES raised a total of $89,000 for Project HOPE through its HOPE for Haiti campaign in which SRA matched employee donations. Similarly, SRA CARES raised $56,237 for Project HOPE through the HOPE in the Pacific campaign in 2011.
