I want to share an update on two of our children's hospitals--one in Shanghai and one in Basrah. The first, the Shanghai Children's Medical Center, just recently celebrated its tenth birthday. In early August, members of the USA Basketball team visited some of the earthquake victims being treated at the hospital. And second, the Basrah Children's Hospital, the first new hospital to be built in Iraq in 20 years will soon open. The two hospitals are worlds apart, yet they have in common the hopes for healthier children--in China and in Iraq. Enjoy these links for the stories they contain--happy ones at that!
