The federal government’s national fundraising initiative, better known as the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) makes it easy for all federal employees and military personnel to donate money to registered, nonprofit organizations. Project HOPE is one such nonprofit. HOPE participates in the Campaign through Global Impact, an organization that represents many international relief and social service charities in federal and state workplace fundraising drives. HOPE’s CFC number is 11115. Other Workplace GivingMany U.S. employers match dollar for dollar the charitable gifts their employees make – some will double or even triple match donors’ gifts, which is a terrific way to maximize your ability to contribute to a cause or organization you value. Your $100 contribution can easily turn into a $200 or even $300 gift for the charity of your choice, with a match from your company! We encourage you to request a matching gift form from your employer and send it, completed and signed, along with your charitable donation to the address below. If you have any questions about your company’s guidelines regarding matching gifts, ask someone in your Human Resources Department. Even if you’re retired, you may still be eligible to participate in your former employer’s program. |
