Health and Hope for Tomorrow

For fifty years, Project HOPE has worked to make health care available for people around the globe – especially children. It’s in our name: Health Opportunities for People Everywhere. From the beginning, when we sent medical volunteers onboard the world’s first peacetime Hospital Ship, the SS HOPE, to our land-based programs today, Project HOPE has been committed to long-term sustainable health care. Our work includes educating health professionals and community health workers, providing medicines and supplies, strengthening health facilities, and fighting diseases such as TB, HIV/AIDS and Diabetes.

Addressing the Diabetes Global Health Crisis The worldwide diabetes epidemic is straining the economic and human resources of health systems worldwide. For over 10 years, Project HOPE has been developing training programs for health workers to improve clinical and educational skills to prevent, diagnose and treat diabetes in targeted countries and regions—particularly China, India and Mexico.  READ MORE
