Laxmikant Palo, Ph.D. is Project HOPE's Regional Director for Southeast Asia. Based in New Delhi, India, he is responsible for all of Project HOPE's public health programs operating in the region. He has extensive experience in program planning and management; policy review and evidence based advocacy; partnership management; public health technical assistance to government and project implementing partners; system strengthening; implementation research and monitoring & evaluation. On the academics front, Laxmikant has a Ph.D. Public Health and Nutrition. His geographic expertise ranges from India and other parts of Southeast Asia to Africa and the United States.
Laxmikant is directing Project HOPE's disaster relief efforts in Nepal, following the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the country on April 25, 2015.
