Project HOPE signs collaboration agreement with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, April 21, 2014

Last week Project HOPE President and CEO John P. Howe, III, M.D. signed an agreement with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine which renews our relationship for the next five years.  Project HOPE has been collaborating with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine since we were first invited to work in China in 1983.  It is one of the oldest and most valued institutional partnerships Project HOPE enjoys.

The purpose of the collaboration is to develop and implement training for health professionals at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and its affiliated institutions, including the Shanghai Children’s Medical Center.  Project HOPE brings international experts to China for education and training purposes and also offers opportunities to Chinese fellows overseas for further advanced training.
