You’ll Be Inspired by Giselle’s Compassion
It was December of last year, with her birthday and the holiday season fast approaching, when Giselle Rackley made a decision.
A mother of three, Giselle decided she wanted something more meaningful than presents and a tree. So she donated her birthday and her Christmas to Project HOPE.
Giselle set up a personal fundraising page on our website (projecthope.org), and sent messages to her family and friends, letting them know that she preferred they give donations instead of holiday and birthday presents.
Why did Giselle choose Project HOPE? “I saw that Project HOPE offers medical assistance to people in need worldwide,” she says. “I also appreciate the high rating from Charity Navigator. And as I compared charities, I really appreciated Project HOPE for its vision.”
Setting up a fundraising page like Giselle did is a fun way to support Project HOPE. If you’d like to create your own fundraiser, just visit projecthopeinaction.org. You’ll find everything you need to deliver health care to the front lines of those who are suffering, and save lives.
“I hope and pray that this fundraising for such a worthy cause can serve others and continue to be a part of what’s good in the world,” Giselle says. “I also like to teach my children by example.”
