Eden Ahmed Mdluli, M.P.H., P.M.P. joined Project HOPE in 2017 as Senior Program Officer, RMNCH (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health).
She will serve as the lead technical support for programming, and will contribute to leadership, strategic direction and technical guidance under the RMNCH portfolio helping to expand the scope through support of existing projects, while proactively seeking opportunities for new programs.
Eden first learned about Project HOPE through its Orphan and Vulnerable Children program in Mozambique while she was a student there.
“It’s been exciting for me to learn more about Project HOPE’s wide reaching and impactful initiatives in geographically diverse areas and in sectors, such as NCDs, that remain largely neglected by others,” says Eden. “I really wanted to work at Project HOPE because I realized there is an increasing and concerted effort in playing a significant and intentional role towards the current unfinished agenda of ending preventable maternal and neonatal deaths.”
Eden is especially excited to support HOPE’s country and regional teams and their initiatives focused on the Save Newborns Now campaign.
