As Kyrgyz refugees begin to return home following weeks of violence, Project HOPE has delivered 51 pallets of donated medicines and medical supplies valued at more than $2.5 million as part of a U.S. Department of State humanitarian airlift. The State Department turned to Project HOPE to help coordinate the shipment that includes humanitarian aid from peer NGOs AmeriCares and CitiHope International.
The humanitarian airlift touched down in Osh, Kyrgyzstan on June 26, 2010.
