Dozens of Project HOPE volunteers have been visiting Ghana on an annual basis since 2008 as part of the Africa Partnership Station focusing on emergency care and education and providing coaching, teaching and mentoring to local emergency room care providers. HOPE is also participating in a  long-term partnership with the Ghana Emergency Medicine Collaborative, sending physicians and nurses with a specialization in emergency medicine or critical care for 3-4 week rotations to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana.
