Volunteers aboard the USS Iwo Jima traveled to Guyana as part of the U.S. Navy’s Continuing Promise 2010. Along with their Navy counterparts, 15 HOPE medical volunteers cared for 5,515 patients, performed 114 surgeries and participated in 4,108 health education contacts during the two-week mission. |
