Central Eastern Europe : Bosnia
Equipment Donation Program – With the assistance of Project HOPE's national organization based in Japan, medical equipment is being donated to Bosnia. Ultrasounds, X-ray machines, ECGs, defibrillators, laboratory equipment and dental equipment have been donated to Bosnia hospitals and primary health care clinics.
Humanitarian Assistance – Project HOPE’s current focus for humanitarian aid is the Republika Srpska. To date, this program has shipped over $ 5 million worth of essential drugs, vaccines, medical texts and some small equipment donations to two logistics centres based in the Republika Srpska. From these logistics centres the shipments are disbursed to clinics, hospitals and humanitarian pharmacies where people can obtain these much-needed medications.
