USNS Mercy Southeast Asia
Project HOPE partnered with the U.S. Navy on a ninth mission to bring health care and health education to people in need. This time, medical volunteers from Project HOPE traveled to Southeast Asia onboard the USNS Mercy. Along with their navy counterparts and other NGOs on board, Project HOPE volunteers treated more than 65,000 patients and performed 1,300 surgeries onboard the ship for people in Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Federal States of Micronesia and Timor Leste. USS Boxer Guatemala and El Salvador
In May, medical volunteers from Project HOPE boarded the USS Boxer on a joint mission with the U.S. Navy to treat patients and conduct health education courses in Guatemala and El Salvador. Craig T. West Africa Mission

USNS Comfort Latin America Mission
Volunteers conducted health education, administered immunizations, performed surgeries and participated in health clinics during a four month deployment to Belize, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Suriname.
