The Detroit Women’s Division of Project HOPE has been tirelessly and creatively raising money to support Project HOPE’s global health and humanitarian programs for over 50 years. These dedicated ladies have raised over $600,000 and have changed thousands of lives for the better all over the world.
A clear and sparkling day on December 3rd at the elegant Oakland Hills Country club set the stage for the Project HOPE Women’s Division Holiday Luncheon and Bazaar. Over 30 high-end vendors delighted guests of all ages with a wide array of wares, ideal for gifts of the season. Spearheaded by Division President, Bettina Gregg, and her host committee, the event drew over 125 guests and raised over $11,000!
Project HOPE Development and Communications team member, Tracy Anderson, was on hand to share a presentation on the history of Project HOPE along with an overview of the many worldwide projects the generous donations from the Detroit Women’s Division have supported. All around the globe today, children are growing up taller and stronger because of their focused, determined fundraising efforts spanning more than five decades. On behalf of all those we serve, we are most grateful to this wonderful organization!
