HOPE staff and volunteers provided health screenings during the Mexican Consulate Health Fair in Lovington, New Mexico.
March has been a busy month for Project HOPE staff and volunteers in New Mexico as they participate in health fairs, community wellness events and health education trainings.
Last week, the staff took the HOPE Mobile Health Clinic to the Mexican Consulate Health Fair in Lovington, New Mexico to provide health screenings to more than 40 people.
“We were able to provide Cholesterol, Glucose, A1C, BMI and Blood Pressure screenings to people who otherwise do not have easy access to medical professionals,” said Trudy Gallegos, Project HOPE Health Educator and Outreach Supervisor in New Mexico.
