Project HOPE Announces West Coast Advisory Council to Expand Asia-Pacific Presence

Project HOPE, a global health and humanitarian assistance organization, today announced the development of a West Coast Advisory Council to provide strategic direction and to strengthen and expand Project HOPE’s programs around the world, with a core focus in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

The Advisory Council members bring their expertise in business, science, healthcare, technology, and other spheres to bear in discussions and counsel with the mission of improving the plight of communities struggling in areas of disaster and underdevelopment.

“The collective expertise and vision of our West Coast Advisory Council will benefit many communities, especially those in the Asia Pacific region. The council will take shape in the coming months as we seek expertise in issues relating to healthcare, politics, technical and financial expertise and other matters related to our key initiatives,” said Tom Kenyon, M.D., President and CEO of Project HOPE.

The council, which will help to raise Project HOPE’s visibility worldwide will meet four times a year in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles.

Project HOPE’s Board of Directors is deeply invested in supporting West Coast efforts to advance the organization’s programs in the APAC region.
