Help Hurricane Iota and Eta survivors in Central America
A Project HOPE emergency response team is on the ground in Honduras, mobilizing lifesaving relief to respond to immediate humanitarian and medical needs in Honduras and Nicaragua following Hurricane Eta. The region is now threatened by Hurricane Iota, a massive category 5 storm that may bring catastrophic flooding to communities already devastated from the early November storm.
How Project HOPE is responding to the hurricanes in Nicaragua and Honduras
Our relief efforts include the provision of medicines and medical supplies, hygiene kits, and personal protective equipment (PPE). We have been in regular contact with our local health partners in both countries to get updates on the damage and immediate needs. In coming days, health and medical needs will increase, including clean water and emergency medical care, and COVID-19 cases are already surging as tens of thousands are displaced into shelters.
Please make a generous gift to support our hurricane response in Honduras and Nicaragua today. You'll help us deliver lifesaving aid and supplies to families impacted by the storms.
