Commemorating the Six-Month Anniversary of the Oct. 7th Hamas Attacks in Israel

Today, Project HOPE solemnly commemorates the 6-month anniversary of the Hamas attacks in Israel. On that horrific day, 1,200 people lost their lives and 240 others were taken hostage. 

Over the last six months, Project HOPE has been actively supporting affected communities in both Israel and Gaza. In Israel, our team has distributed supplies and hygiene items to families displaced by the conflict, equipped health facilities damaged by the October 7th attacks with lifesaving medical equipment, and delivered innovative mental health and psychosocial support to impacted communities. Our thoughts are with those who are missing their loved ones as we continue to advocate for the release of all hostages and an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
