With over two decades of experience spanning both commercial and nonprofit sectors, Mario assumes a crucial role in guiding the organization’s financial strategy. In this multifaceted capacity, he drives global financial planning, manages grants and contracts, and advocates for the integration of Information Technology solutions.
Prior to joining Project HOPE, Mario dedicated 18 years to Global Communities, serving as CFO for four years and steering the organization’s financial trajectory. His tenure was marked by numerous successful mergers and acquisitions, including those within Vitas. The group is a vehicle for impact investors and a commercial holding company created by Global Communities that drives financial inclusion by linking innovators and entrepreneurs with access to the capital they need to build sustainable livelihoods, create jobs and spur economic growth.
Additionally, Mario actively contributes as a board member of Fresh Life, furthering his dedication to philanthropy and community development.
Mario’s expertise extends beyond his executive responsibilities; he is also the author of “Operational Auditing,” highlighting his experience in the audit field. Mario spent his formative years and about three decades residing in Lebanon, graduating from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik with a Master of Science degree in Finance.
