Project HOPE Appoints Tricia Hart as Chief Development & Communication Officer

Project HOPE is pleased to announce that Tricia Hart has been appointed as its new Chief Development & Communication Officer (CDCO), following a highly competitive search process. Tricia has served as Acting CDCO since December 2024, and now steps officially into the role, bringing over 25 years of leadership experience in nonprofit fundraising and strategic communications.
“Tricia is an exceptional leader who consistently brings unwavering focus and poise while managing a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team,” said Rabih Torbay, Project HOPE’s President and CEO. “Under her leadership, the team has consistently exceeded fundraising goals, expanded our corporate and foundation partnerships, and helped to build awareness of our mission to transform the health and well-being of communities around the world.”

Tricia Hart is a seasoned development and communications professional with extensive experience in donor engagement and a steadfast commitment to advancing organizational missions. Known for driving transformational growth, she excels in building high-performing teams, cultivating meaningful donor relationships, and developing sustainable fundraising strategies that empower nonprofits to surpass their goals. Prior to her role as Acting CDCO, Tricia served as Project HOPE’s Vice President of Marketing and Fundraising.
Tricia’s career includes leadership roles at Greenpeace USA, Amnesty International USA, and Orbis International, where she guided fundraising and marketing teams to success. She holds a BA in Political Science from Webster University, an MPA in Nonprofit Management from The George Washington University, and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
