John Bronson
Senior Director, Technical Strategy & Operations
John Bronson provides leadership, strategic direction, operational support, and technical guidance throughout Project HOPE’s Global Health division. He also directly manages all programs across Asia and the Middle East and supervises the administrative teams within the Global Health division.
Bronson previously provided senior-level technical expertise for 15 years on economic-strengthening programs at Project HOPE. These programs combined financial strategies and economic development with public health to alleviate the effects of poverty and improve the well-being of vulnerable populations. He has led strategic planning, program design, and successful fundraising to open new major programs for Project HOPE across Latin America, Africa, and Asia that benefit women and girls, orphans and vulnerable children, and HIV-affected populations.
Bronson has been with Project HOPE for over 25+ years in a variety of roles, contributing to the effectiveness of programs and operation of the Global Health division. He previously supervised the technical support and administrative teams within the division and has also functioned as the interim Regional Director for the Americas, in which role he was responsible for all program activities, staff, and relationships across the countries of the Americas region. Before coming to Project HOPE, Bronson worked in commercial banking and has considerable experience in microenterprise development projects in Africa. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a master’s degree in international development.
